About the Farm

Earth Dance Farm is an 80 acre parcel in the rolling hills of S. E. Minnesota's Bluff Country. We have 25 acres of tillable land, 20 acres of pasture/place and 35 of hardwoods with Bear Creek running through. Purchased in Dec. of 2005, this culminated a nearly two decade journey back to the land. With our house in St. Paul and two children in the schools there, we spent most of 2006 moving down to Spring Valley. We were able to plant our raspberries, strawberries and apple trees, establish some bee colonies and transition our horses. We grew over 25 vegetables and began our CSA with 6 families in St. Paul.

First delivery for 2008 season will be Thursday, June 19th.

Summer gathering - Saturday, August 2nd

Fall gathering - Saturday, October 4th

This 2008 season we will offer 50 memberships in the Twin Cities and Rochester areas. We will grow more than 40 different vegetables and herbs as well as the berries, apples and plums. Our pastured, organically fed Rhode Island Red chickens will be marketing their wares for an optional fare. Our season runs from mid June through October with deliveries on Thursday around midday. We encourage members to visit the farm: work in the fields, walk the woods, or relax by the stream. We will gather in the summer and again in the late fall to celebrate the harvest, our lives and our relationships.

2008 Membership Prices:
• One Share - Individual Drop Off: $525.00
• One Share - Group Drop off (3 or more shares): $500.00
• One Share - Host Group Drop off site: $450.00
• Egg Share* - $55.00 (1 dozen a week)

*We have a limited number of egg shares.

Note: On Monday we will post a list of items that will be in the delivery on Thursday so that you can grocery shop accordingly. We will also be posting recipes and tips. A printed newsletter will be sent in the boxes each week.
