Life has been hopping on the farm as we get ready for the first delivery of produce this Thursday. Following are a few key bits of info we want to pass on to you as we get started with the season
Note 1
Thanks so much for joining us and a special thank you to all of you hosting deliveries at your homes.
Note 2
There are 2 boxes and 2 ice packs per share. It is important that your last box/ice pack is waiting for me when I deliver your next box.
Note 3
Please be very intentional as you flatten the box. They are expensive and cannot be recycled. A tear in the tabs or handles renders them useless. The creases fold, the tabs simply slide into their slots.
Note 4
Hosts please have a designated area for the boxes in shade and out of rain, if possible. Make sure all your members know what you expect when picking up at your place. Boxes with egg shares will be clearly labeled, but people need to make sure they check for the label when picking up their box.
Note 5
I will begin my route in St. Paul north of Summit around 11 a.m. I will travel down 94 to Mpls., So. Mpls., back to Highland Park, Mac-Groveland, Crocus Hill, West St. Paul, and end up in Mendota Heights around 4. This will give you an idea of when I'll deliver to your spot.
Note 6
Please wash your fruit and vegetables before eating.
